A quick show and tell

I grew up on the Monterey Peninsula in California and aside from it's beautiful scenery and colorful history it is/was home to many artists and photographers like Ansel Adams, Edward Weston,Morely Baer,etc. Having a background in photography I'm partial to photographers one of which is Martha Casanave and whose work I admire. I was fortunate to win one of her "Coastal Pinhole" pieces in the annual Monterey Museum of Art's Miniature show one year (back when I use to include my pieces in the show). I had always loved her pinhole photographs and was also surprised to see that my husband has a portrait of his father, taken by Martha, hanging in the house. Her work is dreamlike and beautiful, well worth checking out.
Off to get some things done..a shop update will either be this Friday or next Wednesday..or both!

The "Du Buh Du Debutantes"

Happy Thursday everyone! It's time to give you a sneak peek at seven new dolls I have going into my shop tomorrow around Noon (Pacific Time). I had a bit of fun yesterday gathering some last minute "props" for my little scene, most of which I already had but spruced up a bit. Thanks to Vanessa at Fanciful Twist for reminding me, via her photos, that a few props add a lot to the scene and story. I look forward to adding a story here and there when time permits (haha). In the meantime they'll just have to sit there until the caterer arrives and someone decides to get up and serve some lemonade.I hope you enjoy these ladies!
